INGREDIENTS
- Fresh chicken breasts
- Fresh asparagus
- Oak pellets
- Neil Sarap Gourmet Lemon Pepper
- 2 lemons
- Olive oil
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
INSTRUCTIONS
- Put the fresh chicken breast in a Ziploc bag with some olive oil
- Next add in Lemon juice, lemon zest and @neilsarap gourmet lemon pepper
- Let this sit in the marinade for about an hour before going on the grill
- While the chicken is marinating, wash and trim the asparagus
- Put the asparagus into a preheated pan with some olive oil over medium heat until the color darkens
- Next, fire up the Yoder Smokers YS640 pellet grill and set the temp to 350°F
- Cook the chicken over the direct flame, flipping and rotating until an internal temp of 165°F
- With the asparagus ready and chicken rested a few minutes it’s time to slice and plate
- To plate I added a drizzle of @terrapinridgefarms carnitas grill sauce to both the chicken and the veggies a drizzle.
